Torrent

I have heard about the power of this product for months.

I have been tempted by the reviews, hearing how good it tastes, etc. etc.

However, I have not taken the plunge. First, I am a little leary because of the price (although I know it has a solid ingredient list).

Secondly, and most importantly, I am worried about the potential stomach issues that I may have with the product. I did a search a found a couple people who said that they experienced stomach issues. I have a very weak stomach and Storm just about did my stomach in.

So, this is for the Torrent users. How does your stomach hold up to this product? and have you seen any results that you feel are a direct result of using the product that are more pronounced than just using whey postwo or a solid postwo meal?

I have shock and intra-aid and I am only missing torrent for the AWO Stack.

Reps, any samples available for torrent?

thanks and reps to the first few with good replies.

Yeah the green apple flavor tastes like sweet tarts. I had more stomach issues taking regular whey/creatine than I do with Torrent and my progress at the gym has been great since I've been using it. I couldn't say for sure how much it plays a role in that though. As for price.. that's your call. I think it's worth it.

I've heard from other threads that Waxy Maize isnt actually a simple carb. but, a complex carb.

I hope theres more Maltodextrin and Glucose Polymers in it, since they are faster digesting.

I did a log with Torrent as part of it (see sig).

It really is a good product, and will last you longer then you think. Working out 4-5 days a week, you still get about a month out of it, and the re covery aspect of Torrent is just awesome. Reduced my soreness by a very large amount (4 days of DOMs after a stressful Leg day down to about 2). The stomach issues are there though. Not in a terrible way, but when I drank my Torrent post-wo and didn't eat a solid meal or a shake within about an hour -hour and a half my stomach would hurt/feel bubbly. Didn't happen all the time, and definitely didn't happen if I ate within the time span.

So yeah, I'd repurchase Torrent if I had some money at the moment. Good product. And the taste is really good like they say.

There is more Glucose than Waxy Maize in Torrent. In my opinion, simple carbs aren't quite as necessary pwo as they're made out to be.. I think complex are just fine. And just to clarify, maltodextrin is also a complex carb.

I usually benefit our of taking simple carbs and slow digesting carbs post workout. so, if I do buy which i intend to soon I'll probably mix in some grapejuice.

Mix in grape juice with the Torrent? It's already got 26g of sugar and maltodextrin which is broken down rapidly, so unless you're worried about not getting enough fructose you're really all set in that department.

I cant live without it.

Its light on your stomach, tastes great, and has the best post workout formula i've seen, imo.
