Anyone ever wake up or notice randomly sore muscles on their body?
I'm not talking about from a workout, or something you did that day. I mean like just randomly sore muscles, like almost to the point it is a bruise. I don't think it's from sleeping wrong or "on the wrong side of the bed" or anything weird like that. I don't even mean just waking up with it and noticing either.
Sometimes i randomly notice i have a really sore spot on my thigh or my leg muscles, even when i hadn't worked out that spot in a while; it's like randomly noticing a bruise but you know you never ran into anything or had it hit in that spot, but it's still sore.
Anyone else ever get this? And is there a reason for it?

Do you use Ambien or any other psychedelic tranquilizer as a sleep aid?

Never used ambien or sleeping pills before. I was sick a while back and was taking some pills for that, but that was only for a week; and i noticed if before then anyways.
Why is there something in ambien or a drug in there that causes this as a side-effect?

imo i have discovered that this soreness is protein deficiency. Go eat some protein, and you will feel better, it will go away. But if you don't keep your body filled with protein the soreness will come back.
Means your muscles are growing...or shrinking, if you don't feed them the protein they need, which is why soreness is a sign that you need to eat.

Not necessarily, but users of Ambien have been known to get up in their sleep and for the most part...eat. However, some do wake up in injury.
It also causes weakness, just as benzos do which generally leads to being easily bruised and suffering physically when otherwise, you'd be fine.
I was just curious, but honestly, I have had the same things happen. Not so much anymore.
It may have something to do with me stopping getting drunk to the point of blackout, but who really know?

Protein deficiency causes soreness then? I never knew that. This might be the reason, because i stopped eating meat for a month just a bit ago. I guess i better start eating meat again. Thanks.

adequate protein intake creates a positive nitrogen balance in your muscle fibers (the ones you are tearing during workouts) and helps assist in the recovery process.
also, intracellular bruising may be a possibility (hitting your leg on something, not feeling pain or a subcutaneous bruise but tissue damaged underneath)

u serious?
you should be eating your body weight in kilograms. 1g=1kg
everyday.
promotes muscle growth and (obviously prevents soreness)
lol.

Thanks.
I thought maybe it was just me hitting my leg on something, but it was happening way too frequently for me not to notice something like that. The protein intake explanation makes a lot more sense.

I never said i stopped eating protein altogether; just stopped eating red meat for about a month, which probably lowered my overall protein intake from my usual consumption of it. Which is why i think you're right in what you said before. Thanks for the answer.

if you are cutting cals, I would look into a good BCAA product.
I assume you are taking a multi and getting all your daily recommendations of vitamins and nutrients
