They say it only takes about 6 weeks. Mine however kept migrating (surface piercings tend to do that) and it closed up within an hour of me taking it out, a year after i got it! Don't worry, migrating isnt that big of a deal. mine just did it cause of the gym i think :/
p.s. you totally should! i loved mine and cant wait to get it re-pierced!

Well I dont know about that. It's in your mouth so I think you will be fine.
I work in HR and deal with about 120 some odd employees and I have my lip pierced. I have a little diamond in it so it doesnt look tackey. I think it just all depends on what you put in it as to if it looks goddie or tackey.... do you know what I mean?
I think you should. A tounge piercing isnt all that noticable except when you first get it done and you cant talk very well do to the swelling.LOL
