So I'm almost at the weight that I want to be at (150) and I'm not really having any trouble "losing weight" but I find that I am having a hard time losing fat. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that if you have a calorie deficit and have a ratio of about 40/40/20 with 1g of protein per lb of body weight, the weight you lose will be mostly fat. I've been doing that and have found that my weight is dropping, but I still have a lot of BF of about 16-17% (especially around my stomach).
So now I'm starting to get a little worried b/c I might be losing a lot of muscle (even though my lifts are still good and some are increasing). I currently have a calorie deficit of about 800-900 and am losing approx. 2 lbs a week.
What do you guys recommend I should do? Maybe slow down my weight loss and have maybe a 500 calorie deficit and work more on weight lifting and maybe some HIIT 2-3 times a week? I currently lift 3 times a week and cardio 2-3 times a week and am eating clean.
