Persuasive Steroid Argument
I'm doing a persuasive presentation for a communications class. I'm thinking about doing it on HGH and Testosterone, and why they are beneficial and should be legal when supervised by doctors.
Can anyone recommend some basic, simple sources and websites to help me argue this point?
I'm just speaking to my class, none of them know anything about the topic so it doesn't need to be complicated or argue about the legal issues. Just simply why HGH and Testosterone can be beneficial and that steroids aren't as "bad" as many believe. My speech can only be 9 minutes max, so I can't go too in depth.
Thanks for any help!

AAS "steroids" are not bad if done properly. Have you ever heard of someone dying from steroids? Alot of the crap in the medialike the whole chris benoit thing is bull**** how its cuz of roids that he killed them all and that they make you super aggressive. If that were true then the whole ifbb would be ab bunch of murderers right now......just some stuff to think about

Great.
Really responsible.

Actually no but thanks for the assumption.
I do know the basics and I know the potential effects of their use.
I am just asking if anyone knows of any online sources I can cite that help argue the point.

While it is not a prime source watch the movie "Bigger, Faster, Stronger" and it should explain a lot.

Since the speech is short and the people in your class know nothing about it, you can keep it very simple.
Does your teacher require you to cite online sources? My cmst is a pain in the ass when it comes to that..
I'm writing my final paper & doing my final presentation on responsible AAS use, and since my presentation has to be kept really short too, this is what I intend to do:
- explain the different positive effects of responsible use
- "debunk" the side effects and other assumptions that someone uneducated would have (roid rage and magic pill come to mind).
- give some numbers (the ones if BFS are pretty good, but I'm probably going to use other ones) and facts about medical usage.
Then wing it if I have more time (which I shouldn't, but who knows).

Thanks! That's pretty much what my outline is like too. Shouldn't be too difficult since everyone in my class is clueless about the topic.

Haha yep lots of skinny asians in mine.
I'm definitely the odd one out.
Last presentation I did was on Pit Bulls and how they aren't the vicious dogs everyone thinks. Now I think after this presentation I'll have to clear up to the class that I don't give my Pit Bull steroids lol.

wut u need 2 do 4 ur report is post teh spoon picz w/n00dz nao! wait, wut?
hehe j/k.. (kinda) lol
Seriously though, research clinical studies on the effects of AAS & recombinant HGH on men. These clinical studies will provide you with good information and lab data, which you can use as facts to make your argument. Good luck!

lmao, they see me as the "ultra fitness freak" since pretty much ALL my speeches/papers this quarter were about something gym-related..
I probably will have a harder time convincing them that I'm not juicing
