5x5 Workout - Do you complete 1 exercise first?
Hi
When doing 5x5, do you complete 5 sets of 1 exercise first before moving onto the next one or do you rotate through 1 set of each exercise 5x?

yeah you do one excercise at a time
i.e. 5 sets of squats, THEN 5 sets of bench

Similarly, he who can squat the weight of a grown bull but cannot sprint across the street without an oxygen tank cannot call himself strong, much less a 'Strongman.' It is the combination of upper-, lower-, and windwork, the complete package, that when put together creates the 'Strongman.'

Ah cheers. Also how many exercises do you do in 1 training session? And is it a good idea to increase weight decrease reps per set?

FWIW, Bill Starr's original setup had the exercises setup in a circuit. One set squats, one set bench, one set power cleans, etc until all five sets are done for each exercises.
Madcow's writeup though (quoted above ^^ ) has you doing all five sets of each exercise first, then moving onto the next exercise.

Should protein shakes be mixed with milk or water?
Never mix protein shakes with milk, unless you dont have casein protein...
Milk contains different type of protein than whey protein so they counteract with each other and are digested at different times. Some protein would not get into your system and the rest would need few good hours to be digested.

What rest would you do between sets, can you superset to next exercise like a circuit?

No.
Do people even read about the programs any more? Or do they just see some buzz words floating around the forums and make it up as they go.
READ.

It depends. In Starr's book he talks about a guy getting through the whole thing in <20 minutes. Obviously as the weight get heavier, the time between sets will have to increase in order to make sure you get all your reps.
