The Arnold: Over 35 "Board Mtng" and Pics
If anyone else tried to make Saturday's "board meeting" at the bb.com booth it was impossible to tell b/c the crowd was so dense. People were waiting in line for 1.5 hours to get a t-shirt and a chance to see one of the celebs. Crazy, but good for bb.com. So, if anyone was there -- sorry it did not work this year.
There are plenty of general event photos floating around the Net, so in sticking with the Over 35 focus, here's one of Toney Freeman (Age 42), fourth place, shot at the gym where he was doing a photo shoot for Flex. Unlike some of the pros, he's approachable, happy to flex for pics and talk with the fans. Told me he his noon prejudging appearance was not up to par b/c he had not been able to eat enough that morning. He does better when prejudging is in the evening, giving him time to eat more and fill out.
And if you need some motivation, just go to the gym when these guys are around. I guarantee you'll throw on some extra weight and do some extra sets! That's this year's last report...back to you.

The BB.com booth was nice --but you are right --we waited 1 hour on Friday and almost 2 hours on saturday. A lot of people trying to cut the line on saturday. I will have some of my pics up on my Webshots later this morning.
My wife and I got a lot of great free stuff.

Good grief....same thing at our L.A. FitExpo (our idiot mayor Tony V hosting) along with IronMan Pro Contest. Difference.....our idiot Governor hosted your show along with his pro contest. Elbow to elbow. Same booths, same side shows, same mini samples, same pros, same lines. 200-300 deep at BB.com.
Dispite all the mayhem...sorta fun.

say every year I will not go back...gets further and further from bodybuilding, and more into the other crap each year. I would say maybe 25% of the crowd even worked out.
I mean it this time, I will not go back next year. (see you there next year, lol)

Have to agree with you it was more like a flee market of supplements and hired models that didn't lift a weight in there life time
but you have to make the effort to go see the events.
I saw about 30 min of the pre judging and was worth it, also enjoyed the cage, got one of my favorite T's from there:
"SHUT THE F*** UP AND TRAIN"

It was my first time and I loved every minute of it although Saturday was pretty insane. Ihad to keep checking my back pocket to make sure nobody lifted my wallet. The white tub with liquid in it is a sample of my new pre-workout product. Active Ingredients are Beer & Super Pump 250. The last pic is Josh "5th Gear" beta testing the new Beer Pump 250. Initial results were promising as it lead to Josh doing 400 push-ups in an hour and half.
