ON whey
Which is the better vanilla in your opinion? The french vanilla creme or the vanilla ice cream? Or even the best vanilla protein, any brand? Thanks!

I haven't tasted the french vanilla creme, but I absolutely hated the vanilla ice cream. If @$$ had a flavor, that would probably be it. It probably didn't help that I mixed it in water, I don't do milk much because I'm quite sensitive to it (but not any other dairy). I didn't even get through the whole tub before I gave it to my twelve year old cousin. In terms of any other vanilla flavored protein, Muscle Milk's taste pretty good and it sits in my stomach better because it is lactose free, but that's the only thing I like about it besides the taste. Too fattening in my opinion, ON is definitely the best there is in terms of nutritional value.

Never tasted either because Chocolate is my fav but if I had to choose I would go for the natural vanilla.

I've tried both and didn't really see a big difference...they're both ok, not bad but not the best!...have you ever think about double rich chocolate or cookie n'cream which are just AMAZING!!!

Usually I like vanilla, but none of ON's did it for me (vanilla ice cream, french vanilla, or vanilla chai), but Dymatize Gourmet Vanilla is amazing!
When it comes to ON its Mocha Capp and Cookies & Creme FTW!!!

Honestly I've heard that ON's vanilla flavors aren't the best. I've tried EAS vanilla and that was actually pretty good.
ON is still my favorite whey protein powder, I just prefer the Double Rich Chocolate and Banana Cream flavors.

i like the ON vanilla ice cream. it's funny how things must taste completely different to each person, because i thought the ON cookies and cream tasted absolutely foul. i barely finished the 2 lb jar of it. makes me gag just thinking about it, lol.

The ON vanillas don't taste good at all...and I love vanilla. I have the double rich chocolate and it's great!

Thanks for the replies! I actually tried BSN's lean dessert's vanilla and thought it was gross. I like their other flavors, but didn't like the vanilla. I'm just sick of chocolate and wanted something basic. I used to love drinking the vanilla carnation instant breakfast, so something like that, lol! I'm thinking of getting ON's variety pack. That way I won't buy a giant jug and haaate it. I love BSN's Syntha-6, but it's higher in calories and carbs.

On vanilla ice cream is awesome! Granted I havent tried any of thier other flavors I love this one. I have it with 6-8oz of skim milk its practically like having a milk shake. Ive gone through one 5lb tub and am half way through my 2lb. I plan to keep having it until I get sick of it.

I found GNC's 100 percent whey in vanilla flavor to be okay. I haven't tired ON's vanilla. I do like their cookies and cream flavor. I just bought a giant container of it!

Scivation makes a really good vanilla whey. I'm drinking it right now and surprised at how good it tastes in water. I would guess with milk and ice, it would probably taste just like a milkshake.

Maybe its just me, but On is so watery! I use 1 scoop with water and its like soup. Now my Myoplex has some real substance. Am I doing something wrong wrong with the ON?
