Constant hunger and fatigue!?!
So for the past couple of weeks I've been extremely tired all day long and constantly hungry. I've been getting 8-10 hours of sleep every night. I have been on a slight calorie deficit, nothing extreme and when I'm hungry I am eating plenty. For example, I just went to a mexican restaurant had a nice big dinner, just got home and I'm hungry again (30 minutes before I left I had something quick to eat because I was so hungry).
I don't know what's been going on but its really been bothering me and causing me to miss workouts. The constant fatigue is what's really the problem. I'll sleep for 8 hours wake up and feel like I haven't slept at all. Through out the day I'll feel terrible and in a haze.
My question is what do you think could be causing this? The only thing I can think of is that I'm missing something in my diet, but I'm getting plenty of carbs, healthy fats and protein. So I'm confused maybe I need to start taking multi-vitamins again. I'm planning on going to the doctor but I figured I'd check here tonight before I go in the next couple days.

Right now I am eating 2000 kcals a day and definitely know what your talking about as in the constant fatigue. Almost too weak to get outa my chair let alone work out(although once I go for it it does happen.)
I have found however whenever I cheat or eat real big I seem to feel better so I think at least for me personally its a calorie intake problem, Perhaps I am underestimating what i burn working.

Could be overtraining... Have you tried taking a few days rest from the working out to see if that changes anything?

I have definitely toned it down this week basically because I have not had the energy to work out. I'm hoping by tomorrow I'll start feeling somewhat better because I haven't been to the gym since tuesday.

Coffee and caffeine pills have helped me quite a bit with the fatigue. Hot coffee also seems to suppress my apetite when I'm hungry. I'm even thinking about buying a coffee machine...

Get more Fiber helps with hunger. Get a split workout routine and, if your not getting enough healthy fats in your diet or carbs you'll lose energy.
Edit if its his diet.... Caffeine may act as an appetite suppressant and that could make him feel worse.

Take a whole week off from the gym. If you don't feel any better go see a doc.
Oh and, caffeine is not a good idea.
