yeah be happy you had the balls to do it. most guys try to forgive the girl, then end up getting ****ed over a few more times and dragging the whole thing out for months. when it happened to me, i wouldve rather done it quickly like you did because anyone in that position knows inside that things will never be back to how they were.

just make sure when she calls/txts you not to respond even if you want to, itll just end up hurting you in the long run

Good for you. I know it's always easier for us to say "get rid of her" because we are not the ones with feelings for her... you are... but you did the right thing here.

The next few months will suck. Just keep yourself busy... lift, get out and socialize with your buddies... and whatever you do... don't do the things that will twist the knife (no checking her facebook page... no unblocking her on AIM... etc). And date... you won't feel like it... but getting hit on by attractive women does help.

Not sure if by kicking her out you mean she was living with you and you threw her out or if it just means you ended the relationship. Either way, I have alot of respect for a guy who knows what needs to be done in situations like this and does it.

so did you have any prior suspicion/gut that something fishy was going on? what all happened as far as details/history are concerned, what would motivate/precipitate someone to do that? seems like you're active, have a car and likely a job because of those two.

It's normal to wonder about things like this (i.e... does she have a place to stay, is she ok?, etc...). But, as much as possible, try to push those thoughts from your mind.
