    Ideas for high-protein sandwiches?

I'm not a fan of cold-cuts because of all the processing and extra sodium and other crap additives, so really the only sandwiches I eat are tuna fish but I'm really not the hugest fan of seafood and I'm curious what other people eat.

I know sandwiches aren't the optimum thing to eat, I only use the Ezekiel non-sprouted bread (which I feel offer more for less calories), and love making PB&J, any hints as to how I could bump the protein content?

You could also either have a scoop of whey on the side or just a tall glass of milk with your PB & J.

Prepare some chicken or turkey from the day before and it should last a few days. Also, try making your own turkey or beef burgers. They're not that difficult. There are some recipes in the recipe thread, and they're real tasty and much healthier than ready made varieties.

the ideas posted above are all great, beef, chicken, turkey, etc. I personally LOVE fish sandwiches and would take that over a hamburger anyday also my mom makes these burgers out of beans/onions/peppers/seasonsings. mashes it all up and makes patties and they taste absolutely heavenly. im going to mix in some ground meat with them next time for a yum yum protein burger.

At work we have a decent cafeteria. I've been doing roast beef and swiss on rye bread. Maybe not the best thing in the world, but it beats many processed meats. I go for their Boars Head cajun turkey when they have it.

I found a brand that appears to be pretty decent, called Thin 'n Trim. Two slices of turkey breast I picked up is 60 calories, .5g fat, 1g carb and 12g protein. Had 4 slices with 1 slice of provolone cheese on a whole wheat wrap and a tablespoon of salad dressing for taste. Without taking the .5oz spinach I put in there, the whole wrap came to 365 calories, 19g fat, 16g carb and 39g protein. Was pretty good!

damn, those must be some thick ass slices haha. usually those deli meats are thinly sliced so you'd need at least half the package to get that much protein
