about to start my first cycle need questions answered???
ok guyz im 5'8 182lbs at around 13% bf. im starting my bulk in 1 week and am going to start with 3000cals. im going to do it natrual for about a month first to get my diet into a habit then im going to start the cycle. its a 10 week test enan cycle with 400mg a week. my question is: generally when bulking u slowly increase calories as weight slows down. i useally increase by 300-400cals. when on a cycle im going to gain weight rapidly and dont know when to increase cals and by how much to support muscle gain and continue to grow. any help?

i would suggest a bit more than 3000 calories for a AAS bulk.

when you bulk you should eat about 4-5k calories. This way you can gain 2-3 pounds per week.

you should only eat as much as you need to to gain your desired poundage per week. 4-5k may be WAY too much for him and result in fat gain. at his weight and height it probably is on the very high side of what he should be eating.

exactly. Just use the mirror and the scale as a good way to judge if you are gaining weight in the right areas and then you can adjust your calories accordingly.

Especially for a test only cycle. I recently read that Vadim was taking in like 2600 or something now hes pre contest, but I'm willing to be he doesnt get much over 4000 unless hes just bulking at all costs.

i like to start off low then slowly increase to minimize fat gains. this is a lean bulk. really trying to stay as lean as possible,so when i cut i will not need to go on a long cut and potenially lose the muscle i just gained. i think the max i will go with cals is like 4500. after that i think i will be gaining fat not muscle.
