Ahh this sucks I started to notice that my hair was thinning out about a year ago, but at that time it didnt look so bad so i just kind of denied that it was actually happening. But now i feel like i need to do something before i look like a complete fool with some sort of combover. What do you guys think? should i try hair loss drugs like rogaine or should i just shave my head?

Enjoy life in the red.
And OP, at first just try using Nizoral A-D once every three days for a 3-5 minute soak. It's sold as a dandruff shampoo, but the active ingredient (ketoconazole) has been shown to be effective at preserving existing hair count. If that doesn't slow it enough for you, you could always try a system 5-alpha reductase inhibitor like finasteride, dutasteride, or saw palmetto (cheapest by far) to see if you get results outta that.
Minoxidil (Rogaine) is definitely effective, but it has a downside in that any hair you manage to maintain/regrow because of it is thereafter dependent on continual minoxidil use.
It's also been suggested that a more balanced Omega-3/6/9 profile will help reduce hair loss. I've heard that supplementary CLA is a potentially useful addition to any treatment regimen.

Oh, well, I'm sure it can be arranged for you to receive some more
I did forget to mention that a systemic 5-alpha reductase inhibitor can, hypothetically, lead to increased estradiol conversion and might directly interfere with gains to a small extent. Luckily DHT isn't a very anabolic hormone, so any negative effect on your gains should be minimal.

Unless your scalp is riddled with sweet scarring from some dumb bint failing at life and not understanding that a red light means f'cking stop!
On that note, thanks Mom!
I've had multiple times when I wanted to simply shave my head, but feel like it'd simply be retarded with the awesome amount of scar tissue I've got. I get stuck with having to choose between androgenic alopecia (fail genetics ftl) or some nasty ass scarred tissue showing, all because my mom suffers from Y Chromosome Deficiency Syndrome and was mistakenly allowed behind the wheel of a car...

It doesnt look bad or as bad as you say it is, the front is possibly your hair division? Id say shaving all your hair is a bad idea if you dont want to it doesnt look as bad as you say ( in fact you cant notice it much.
Eitheir way id go to some doctor or something instead of asking people in the teen section you never get any serious answers here..

Dude, he's 18. You have any idea how socially crippling it is to have your hair thinning at that age? Whether or not anyone actually notices is really a moot point, it crushes your confidence just knowing that people might notice.
Don't be an ******* about it. Just because it's a minor problem now (really OP, it isn't bad yet, but def. take some preventative measures) doesn't mean it won't rapidly decline.
