Ais??

I am working on my NASM-CPT and was wondering if I could get some input from the pro's. I am a little confused about AIS. I have read the breif descriptoin in the text and other materials and have searched the web a little to try and understand this as much as possiable. But I feel like this is a very big topic. And the little bit I am learning about it wont be enough


why only hold the stretch for 1 to 2 seconds?

Where can I learn more AIS techniquies?

Is the Mattes method really where it all started?

Do any of you have your clients do AIS?

Sorry I couldn't be more informational, I have been training for 10 years and have never used AIS and I don't remember more than 1 question being on the the nasm-cpt test.
