Decorating an "Eye of the Tiger" Gym
My friend and pt client works out in a corner of her unfinished basement. It is lined on 2 sides with homemade wood shelving, on cement wall with a small basement window, and one wall is plastic covered wall studs to block out the saw dust from her hubby's woodworking area that let some light in from the basement windows in there.
So any inexpensive ideas as to how to liven up this "gym?" I was thinking of material to hang over the shelves and some kind of inspiring pictures.
What do you see when you look around your home gym (if that's where you workout)?
And is has to be clean - she has 3 young boys.

I?m sitting on the leg curl machine-resting a little too long at this point because of my nosy nature-and I think to myself, ?I hope whatever you?ve eaten and whatever exercise you never did is worth the trouble you?re going through now.?

There used to be a big poster of Ronnie Lott at my first gym. The intensity in the mans eyes helped me bring intensity and focus to my training. I would suggest for them to find someone who they want to look like or that will give them inspiration to hang up.

Allow me to suggest a mirror, or mirrors. Serves twin purposes, let's your client check form etc., and increases light/brightness.
