Of course he knows. Why else did he have a weapon when Walt came a dropped off the 5mil? They were pissed at each other but I'm sure he didn't think Walt wanted to kill him because he wanted out of the game. Jesse had the gun because he knew about Mike and probably the 10 others getting offed in prison. He thought Walt was there to finish him too.

I initially thought Jesse was all suicidal and chit :P only copped it when he put the gun on safety and threw it away. Jesse would defo know about the prison people being killed from the news etc and like i said, would obviously conclude Mike is dead as otherwise that wouldn't of happened.
The show tends to foreshadow things pretty subtly all the time. Chances are the opening s5 scene with the big gun & walt popping pills is to do with his cancer returning and the mexican cartel/Lydia trying to kill him off, you don't just walk away from the game when you're a kingpin.

May not be from Gale. We never see him give Walt the book. That line was in a poem in that book. May be from Grecthen Schwartz. G.B. may be her maiden name initials. Could be Gretchen Black. Gretchen Black+Walter White=Gray. Gray Matter, the company that Walt was pushed out of. That is a reason why he wasn't worried about it being out. Just a thought.

Thats how Walt will explain it to Hank, who will lie and say he understands and believes Walt but behind the scenes will spend all of his time looking into Walt. And its just a matter of time before they confront each other
Edit: for everyone saying How could Walt keep a signed book by Gale there? I wouldnt doubt it if Walt never even knew Gale signed it...Im sure gale gave him the book, Walt was his typical self and probably just said "oh thanks gale" and put the book away and never even opened itLast edited by alex9090; 09-04-2012 at 08:08 AM.

Correct. Jesse however isn't a dummy, and I'm sure he is at least suspicious of Walt for having killed Mike.
And yes, his cancer is back...that is why he punched the dryer in the restroom, why he finally told Skyler that he is done, why he gave Jesse his money and why he was sick in episode 1.
I imagine the cartels decide that Walt is not allowed to walk away.

Jesse definitely does not know about Mike being dead. Jesse has a HUGE past with Mike and looks to him almost as a father figure. When I watched the scene and Jesse says "Saul told me what you did" I was under the impression the Jesse was talking about the 9 guys in prison (after mentioning his concern about them to Walt earlier in the episode) while Walt thought he was talking about the death of Mike.
I would be extremely surprised if Jesse would just casually let Walt know that he knows he murdered someone he truly cared about. I mean look at how he reacted to the whole Brock situation and he essentially has no ties to the kid.

exactly. the "empire building mastermind" persona is a season 5 revelation only. people forget that through the first 4 seasons of the show walt was just a regular dude who got himself in over his head in this criminal world. he made mistakes constantly. killing gus doesn't all of a sudden make him a mastermind immune from mistakes.

Anyone think it was odd that Skylar and Lydia were both wearing the same colour nail polish in the most recent episode?
I think it shows that Walt has two main women in his life now, they are partners but in different ways.
They were both wearing red nail polish though, anyone know what this could have symbolised? Was it used to foreshadow all of the bloodshed in the episode (the prison shankings)?
not srs about any of this lol, just thought I would post another crackpot theory about BB to rustle all of your jimmies!

Just saw the episode, won't give my .02 cents since I'm sure everything has already been discussed, but awesome episode. Now we wait.

i've taken film classes and seen films from several of those listed. they are entirely different, and comparing a godard film to an AMC show is like comparing michaelangelo to bob ross. an art film and a tv show thats about meth... hmm yea your point is invalid. if all you ever watched was serious film you're a boring fukc.
decadent? its a fukcing war show you twit. Rome was a show about decadence, GoT is about war.
and in your first retarded post the other day you said BB had "predictable plot twists" yet you didn't predict them? does that make you a potato?Disregard Everything, Acquire Aesthetics Crew
