is 90% maximum weight, do 5 sets and with 5 reps for every set?
if so how many exercises per bodypart?
need to shed some light on a new workout.. i think my muscles have 'adapted' to its training routine...

not 90%, usually calculated from your current 5rm

there are different versions, some do 5x5 with the same weight, others ramp up to a heavy set of 5

the exercises: squat, bench, deadlift, barbell row / power clean and incline / overhead press
    some assistance work is done

    ah i see thanks...

i want to gain size.. what would be the most effective 5x5?

so 5x5 is a variety of workouts that involves top and bottom parts of the body in one sessions rather targeting specific body parts?

ah i see... so you have to follow that specific program and not do 5RM on your existing workouts like 5RM on chest days, back days etc... that wouldnt work?
