Unhappy Forearm pain when doing barbell curls

Hi, I am a teen bodybuilder. I have been doing dumbbell curls since I started lifting. I started to do barbell curls one day and I had a very sharp pain in both of my forearms. For some reason, whenever I do barbell curls now, it hurts the back of my forearms tremendously when I curl up. I would appreciate any suggestions possible for alternatives or suggestions of what to do as far as form, but as far as that I don't know what to do as far as barbell curls.

Compatibility with straight bar curls is highly dependent upon the individual.

I also have slight issues when using a straight bar for curls.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

For me, I had to build a tolerance to them. When I first started doing them, they hurt my forearms/wrists a lot. Now, no problems at all. It helps to find the right grip too, so you could try adjusting how far apart your hands are.

To be honest Barbell Curls kill my forarms aswell when i use a straight bar, so mostly for the past few months i've used an EZ Bar Curl. That takes the strain off your forearm's when curling it up and i haven't had any forearm pain's since. I suggest you get an EZ Bar Curl if its bothering you too much.

Have ya tried EZ curl bars? They will take load off the wrists and forearms.

Do you bend your wrists or keep them straight when you perform the straight bar curls?
