    Tractor Tire Workouts

Me and my friend just picked up two big tractor tires. Unsure of the weight but they are probably around the 100 pound range.

can anybody give me some good routines that i can do with them.

At 100lbs, put them around your head and run with them.

lol they might be a lot heavier then that(just a guess, but now that im thinking about it i have really lifted the tire as a whole). Ive been flipping them. Im a light weight myself (145 and gaining) but i figured you bigger guys would have more experience and routines for using the tires

Tractor tires can be over 200 lbs easily. I used to do truck tire service and had to change them on things like payloaders and road graders.

They filp over nicely, just don't let one get away if it rolls.

Roll it down a hill like that scene in Rat Race, then run after it as fast as you can to see if you can catch up with it.

There is a lot more that you can do than just flipping and doing sledge swings.
I just made a video covering over a dozen exercises.

I would attach a rope/chain to it and use it for dragging.

You could also hit it with a sledgehammer as others suggested - should be able to pick up a moderate weight one for $20-30.

Dragging 1 or 2 tires is a great workout. You can work strength, speed, acceleration, and endurance with this.

I have three, all around 300# and do flips, drags, step ups, sledge hammer strikes, stacking all in a weight vest. Check industrial tire shops for free ones. Dealers tire here in Phoenix is charged .80 a pound for disposal and are more than happy to give them away.
