Starting working out for first time in 2 years.

Hey everyone , today I am going to begin working out again after not doing so for over 2 years. I was very into it for about 8months or so , then I started smoking weed everyday for about 1 1/2 years which made my motivation and mental drive sink extremely low.

Im thinking of perhaps going back on Rippetoes again , but I never found those workouts anywhere near as enjoyable as ones including more isolation excersises. What other routines are good for "begginers" ?

Do you think this physique is possible to achieve in 1-2 years?

I do actually have very good genetics , and despite having the same physique I had before working out have 15" biceps when flexed. Here is the only "recent" picture of me that shows any muscle lol , sorry its not very good but its all I have.

I think im pretty much a pure mesomorph , I have a naturally huge chest/rib cage and found it very easy to put on muscle back when I did actually workout.

Thanks for any help and advice on routines I can get.

probably ElitemadCows Or Rippetoes....
I kind of did that too, worked out then stopped
when I came back though, I tried the Westside barbell routine for a few months the strength shot right back up and then some..

After careful examination of picture...No huge chest was found...

=[...

But on another note, stick with a Strength/5x5 Routine for a few months at least, and then when you're back into, add some supplementary isolations if you want. Compounds are key tho.

Edit: Unsure if said physique is attainable. Key requirement SEEMS to be you need to made out of stone.

Edit Edit: MadCows made the routine, hence...name.
