ya, so u have the stats of ronnie... what are you talking about???
theres a video of him squatting too, like 10 plates per side or osmething like that for 2-3 reps. i'm sure you can find the video, i'm too lazy right now.
You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told you're a god or a total bastard. The iron always kicks you the real deal. It's the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. I have found it to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But 200 pounds is always 200 pounds.
in a similar vein i wonder did ronnie ever lift those huge poundages after he was filmed doing them ? Or did he maybe improve his dead/squat etc.
If he didnt usually use these jevy weights i too would like to know what sort of range he would use for a typical work-out.
The lifts im especially thinking off are the 160 db shoulder presses,800lb+ dead and squat and how ever many plates he had on T-bar rows.
I have seen jays vids and he moves some weight. Although the one time I seen him deadlifting on muscle beach in one of his vids he has horrible form and was not even going heavy. All the guys he was lifting with had horrible d/l form actually.
Only after you have lost everything, Are you free to do anything.

Ronnie said in a Flex (can't remember which one, i think the one before the 2011 arnold) that he only did singles and doubles (one or two reps) for the cameras. He did 8-12 reps because that what builds the most muscle.
He did 4-5 sets of 10-12 reps for just about everything and picked a weight he could do ten times but got twelve reps with it.

From MD Mag about a year ago in his 'Best lifts' article, not exactly word for word, a lot of these were done years ago
Bench- 550 for 2 Reps
Incline Barbell- 405 for 6-8 Reps
Leg Presses - 12-1300 for 8-10 deep reps
Dumbbell Press - 200 for 2 after turning pro years ago
Squats - Went as high as 700 for a couple reps ATG at 19
Front Squats - 455 for 6-8 reps, never maxed out
Hack Squats - 720 for 10 reps
Deadlifts- 585 for 3 reps from the floor
Rack Deadlifts- 675 for 3-6
Barbell Row- 405 for 8-10
Dumbbell rows- 200lbs for 10 reps
Weighted Chins - 45 for 5-8 rep
Lat Pulldowns -300 for good reps (Didnt say exactly how many)
Cable Rows - Can go 400 for 8-10 with a bit of heave
Shrugs- Can go up to 600 on a barbell, can get a few reps with 200lb dumbbells
Overhead barbell press- Went as high as 315, nowadays would probably have a rough time with 225 but could work up to 3 plates shortly after
Seated Dumbbell presses- 160 for 8-10
Barbell Curls - Got 225 for 2 reps, didn't bother after those 2
Dumbbell Curls- Curled 80s, sticks to 60s/70s nowadays
Skull Crushers- 180 + the bar for 15-25, depeding on the bar
Overhead Dumbbell Extensions - 160 with both hands, 65 with one hand
Weighted Dips - 100lb dumbbell, didn't say how many reps
Close-Grip Benches - 405 for 8-10
Few other notes from the article - Most of the heavy lifting was done before he had a career to think about
Biceps have never been strong for him
Rep Back 500+
After your post I focused on more what Jay is eating, from what he has on the kitchen top has anyone noticed that he does not have enough water??, a 500ml bottle of water would not be enough with that big bowl of oats and the fried stuff. Everyone knows Americans prefer coffee to tea, so lets assume the red and black mug has coffee in it, coffee will not dehydrate Cutler, it only has a mild diuretic effect but nor will it hydrate his body. . - RommyRomboid
I've seen videos of Jay rowing 4 plates, cable row stack+45 for big sets etc. He was also lifting heavier than centopani in a chest video and evan is strong as hell.

How the **** do you even rest six plates across your front delts/chest????
This, that front squat is probably his most impressive lift. There are guys weighing under 180lbs who can do 800lbs in a suit. But that 6 plate front squat is insane by anybody's standards

Iv seen a few guys in the gym who aren't even in great shape who bench more than Jay does in the videos he's posted online. He was narrow benching like 120 in a video I seen and seemed to be struggling with it. I hope to be doing that soon. I dunno, I think Jay is faking it when he's acting like he's maxed out in those videos or suhn cause you can't be that huge and that, well not weak, but not otherworldly strong.
Btw just to add, I once seen a vid of Tank Abbott. (Mma fighter) benching 600 for a rep, so surely guys as big and as roided out of there mind as Jay and especially RonRon could get that up for a rep too.

This is going to blow your mind. Aus strongman Warrick Brant front squatting 783lbs.
I don't know if this falls into the category but I heard prostate isn't kept healthy if constant pressure is done on it, I heard it is one of issues for many bikers. Not sure if the pressure from heavy military press puts many pressure on prostate, but according to my personal experience, I think it does, if I sit straight on the bench instead of sitting like inclined bench manner (I can feel the pressure around my prostate if I am sitting vertically with heavy military press)

Strong logic in this post...as long as one is "roided out of their mind" they can bench 600 raw. You sir, are a brofessional.

Fake plates in that vid (srs).

Nah I said at there size, and obviously jacked to the gills on every possible candy on the market. And they train constantly. You'd think they'd be able to at least get one rep if Tank can.
And its not like juice doesn't help in a huge way, my training partners bench went up like 40 plus kilo in 5 weeks or so when he started cycling something that rhymes with "best" and something that rhymes with "meca". I can only imagine the adavantages HGH ect bring to the table. I'm not saying you don't have to still work really really hard to look great, even on all that tho.
