    Masturbation vs sex and testosterone levels from an evolutionary standpoit hypothsys

    so i was checking this bodybuilding website and they were showing in an article discussing testosterone levels and sexual activity. the results were saying that testosterone levels increased by 400% after 7 days after they practiced masturbation and another observation was made that testosterone levels increased also by 400% when they masturbated after a hard workout. so in this article they advice u to not masturbate for 7 day in a row to increase ur testosterone levels or do it after evry workout .so i was thinking "why"and i had this intresting idea y here it is

    it is known that having sex will increase ur free non aromatised testosterone levels in the blood trigering muscle building and fat loss and better health on the other hand masturbation will increase ur testosterone level;s but they will be aromatised turned into eoustrogene and eventually loss of muscle mass and increasein fat tissue .

    *having sex has an non aromatised effect on testosterone levels because when u r having sex u r practically having a workout and ur muscles r getting tired and lactic acide is building up in ur muscles

    *lactic acide produced when working out will make the tesosterone in ur blood non aromatisable .

    SO ==> going to the gym and having a great workout building the lactic acid in ur muscles then masturbating to increase ur testosterone levels will tric ur body that u had u had sex .

    and i remebered we(humans) r an old outdated machine working on a new software(society's rules)...now if we look at it in an evolutionary way like 10000 years agou r a young male not fully built yet looking to mate u find a women she resist u will have to fight with her or the other male in her group eho protect her so u can spred ur sperm in her, when u fight her ur body releases great amounts of lactic acide in your body and after the fight u get to ejaculate in her. then ur body get to work he want u to be stronger so u can get the women without fighting her or the male that used to own her so testosterone levels shootup in the sky for u to build muscles so the fight will be easier the next time u try to spred ur genes .and as hard as the fight will be the higher ur free testosterone levels will be and more muscle u will build and more fat u will loose .

    on the other hand when u masturbate watchinn porn u trick ur body that u did not nead to fight so u could spred ur genes so less muscles will be needed in ur body cz muscles r very nutritionaly expensive and u go in a state of building fat on ur body and loosing muscles.

    Ha! I did my thesis on pre performance rituals amongst college athletes. This is one of the topics that I focused on. I had to interview 200 college aged athletes and what they thought about masterbation/sex before competition and the actual result.

    What I found.

    The majority of the woman found that it relaxed them, allowing them to focus more and more on their task.

    Men were split down the middle. Some said they stay away from it because:

    "waste of energy"
    "over relaxed them"
    (football, lacrosse)

    The other half of the men praised it! I found that the more skilled the sport the more athletes would masterbate or engage in sex before the competition.

    I remember one guy (pole vaulter) telling me while they were warming up he ran to a port-a-poddie and rubbed one out... He had a personal best that day.

    There is no real scientific research behind this.. but if you engage in sex you will be using alot more energy than masterbating. So, if you are looking to save your energy than don't have sex close to competition.

    Also, I did hear that sex/masterbation increases testosterone levels due to the fact that after you give up your "load" the body begins making more. Makes sense!

    personally... sex kills me...masterbation makes me! LOL!

    All I know is that when I dont have sex or masturbate for along time, I get aggressive and it helps me in the weightroom and on the field. While on the other hand when I ejacualte, I become weak and what not. Whenever I'm lifting or in-season, I try to limit the amount of times I ejaculate.

    haha i remember when I played ball, we would play games on saturday so I wouldn't unleash a load after tuesday. it seemed if I got down too close to gameday I would be sluggish and not as jacked up for the game. but if I didn't blow one for a few days I would be bouncing off the walls on saturday morning.

    It was probably all psychological but it worked for me.

    what i heard is that a quickie is perfect for releasing testosterone.
    if it takes you too long, like an hour or so, then it's bad to do before lifting or the night before a game.

    Where's the problem? Just don't move during the sex. Tell her to do the moving. Saves energy especially when you're bulking. You could also have a snack while she's at it.

    I'm trying the 7 day experiment. I have a strength meet Saturday (Day 7) where I max out on bench, squat, broad jump, and run the 40. Will keep everyone posted. Most recently my bench max was 240, Squat is unknown, broad jump was 9'2", and 40 was 4.59h PB
