I made the thread because it's a Saturday afternoon and I'm bored out of my mind. And (for what it's worth) the thread isn't about asking me questions about myself, it's just about asking me questions, they can be about anything.
If the thread can allow me to pass some time and answer some peoples' questions then i'll consider it a success.
Old Man syndrome, I'm only 22 but I've got white hairs coming through and smile lines/wrinkles starting to form

Happy to hang out, are you in Melbourne brah?
Nope, haven't done a commercial in a while now.
Religious? Not really. I was raised Catholic, but to be honest Buddhism is the only religion that makes much sense to me. I'm also half-Jewish which makes the notion of an inherited religion all a bit strange to me.
I would consider myself spiritual though, and I'm not against the concept of a higher power, just the notion that a bunch of blokes over 1000 years ago would know what that higher power expects from his people.
I'd like to think that if a God exists, then he wants you to be a good person and treat others as you'd have them treat you.
Spend 10 minutes a day tensing the muscles in your face to force the hairs outwards.

I've got a question.
I'm a 19 year old public servant earning 30k a year, I did my TEE exams in year 12 but not sure if I want to commit to university.
What would you do in my situation, work on a career or better my education?
Do you think it would be hard to get into the federal police without a tertiary education?

Would mate, but I'm buggered. Was up at 5.30am this morning for a photoshoot. In no condition to go riding. Do you fancy seeing that "The Wrestler" movie? I was thinking I might go see that tonight.
I'm a freelance "creative", basically I do commercial photography, videography, directing, editing, motion graphics work, journalism and other bits and pieces. I'm self-employed.
Nope, you're right, I'm the one who's tripping apparently.
To be honest, more than anything I was just disappointed. I've had a couple of chats with her and she seems like pretty cool person, I had the impression she was fairly firmly against the idea of throwing nude photos of herself on the internet (which I think is fairly important measure of common sense) so just sorry to see her fall into that same trap.

I can neither confirm, nor deny...
Ah nice, I'm a Sandgroper myself. From Rossmoyne originally.
I am a grug, and a grug is me. Grug is also a hairy little character in a much-loved Australian picture book series.
Well for me personally, the three years I spent at Uni were honestly a complete waste of time. Technically, I didn't learn any skills I hadn't already mastered by the end of year 10 media studies in high school. I should have just gone to film school.
But I do think that for most people, in most fields, a tertiary education is a sensible option for a faster-tracked career. Not that you can't work your way up without a degree, but they do seem to get people further faster. But it honestly depends on the specific job field you're looking at.
