My Journey to 150--the SCIVATION way!
Hello...
This is my very first blog outside of my bodyspace, so here we go. Upon receiving my program, it was suggested by Rob that I keep a log for support, which I am sure I will need down the line. I have struggle with my weight for 20 years now and for the last few years I've been fighting the fight (half-heartly) to get my weight down. It has been one excuse (some valid) after the other as to why I lose to temptations and complatency.
I have read a few Scivation books and though I have no interest in competing, I would love to look like I do and I would love to be a sucess story for those who have given up countless of times!
My goal is to reach 150lbs by doing the CHA diet, the 1600 calories plan has been recommended. I've ordered the Xtend in apple and watermelon and sad to say for now, I cant do the vascocharge or the dialene due to my high blood pressure, but I already have the Sesamin and the PrimaForce, along with some UDO's oil (I take a tablespoon straight).
Here is my plan until further notice:
Meal One: 4egg whites, 3 whole eggs
Meal Two: 5oz Fish or protein powder (1.66 scoops); 3tsp Udo's or almonds
Meal Three: 5oz Fish or protein powder (1.66 scoops); 3tsp Udo's or almonds
Meal Four: 5oz Fish or protein powder (1.66 scoops); 3tsp Udo's or almonds
Meal Five: 5oz Fish or protein powder (1.66 scoops); 3tsp Udo's or almonds
Meal Six: 5oz Fish or protein powder (1.66 scoops); 3tsp Udo's or almonds
For my daily intake of fiberous carbs...I will rotate throughout the week between broccoli, green beans and spinach. My fruits as instructed will be blueberries and grapefruit (luckily, i like these both)
Workout:
1st four weeks!
Mon, Wed= lower body workout. 20 min of low intensity cardio
Fri, Sat=upper body workout. 20 min of low intensity cardio
Tues/Thursday= cardio only
Sun=Rest
My concerns: The hunger pains and lo-carbs (I know the first two weeks will be hard, trying @ best). Will I starve and have lack of energy?? I read it may feel that way but to hang in there as the body adapts to using protein and fat for energy!
Thanks Rob and the folks @ Team Scivation...
I hope to not dissappoint!
-Alex
