But it pumps out more low end torque than your 1000hp n+t and its more alpha than those stupid fast and furious cars.
Well I cant argue that there is nothing more alpha than the largest possible V8 you can cram under the hood of the sleekest smallest car you can possible build (Z06 corvette anybody?)
but there is something scary about a 160 cubic inch (2.6L) motor making big usable power reliably
but you probably dont want a video of the dyno run... nahh...
hes going to moroso tonight to test it out
last night was a mad rush to get it ready
we spent 2 hours changing(trying) the wastegate spring because the one we had in it only allowed for about 28PSI of boost
Many high-displacement engines DO produce higher torque numbers than HP. Torque is what gets you moving off the line. This car does have impressive HP numbers, but there's a big discrepancy in the HP/Tq. ratio.
This is why most kids in Hondas with HP and no torque have to catch up and do their ricer fly-by when racing a real car.
I do agree, this is not your typical F&F ricer car, it's fast...I would rather have a 600hp/650tq to 700/500.
Here's a Viper with 1000 hp/1100 tq, beating a Bugatti Veyron:

HP is a number derived from torque. It is dependent on revs. If you are above 5252 RPMS HP > TQ and blow it TQ > HP no matter what car you are in. So what you said is complete gibberish.
That is a bad azz little car man...props to you and ur homie on that one....you should have posted all the pics in the first place....even the body of it looks good

there is more than one way to go fast
and in style
in case you guise dont notice there is a parachute on the back of this Silvia because its a straight line drag car... so anyone who hates on "IMPORTS" would actually be hating on "IMPORT MUSCLE" since "MUSCLE" cars are known for going fast in straight lines...
hence the kind of hilarious-ness of the average V8 pusher.
Well, I love 1 cylinders. yep, 50 cubic inches and a bottle of NO and some whey and im off to mow the lawn.
this car is only 1k HP through part of first gear off the line because of the nitrous
from 2nd gear to the end of the track your talking 900~RWHP consistently pushing the ground (thanks to the wonders of the converter...)
oh and because the power goes through fluid copulation the motor is actually making more like 1035BHP(SAE) So when they say the Z06 corvette is 500SAE BHP (and 450RWHP) this car is 1050~SAE BHP (and 900RWHP) with a 15% DT loss (i believe its more like 20%)
Nice car, the engine is beautiful. How long you think it will run for?
haha I was wondering if someone would ask!
As to the engine... Probably a year or so before it needs "routine maintenance" (rofl at maintaining this machine) ... short answer
as to the vehicle itself...
I think he might ram it into the wall at 140MPH tonight...
so yes Im certainly going to record some vid...
leaving soon
