How many hours is between your meals~?

for instance - meal 1 and meal 2, how many hours are between those two meals..

can it exceed the limit to 4 or 5 instead of 3?

to be honest it doesnt make a huge difference ive learned that eating2, 3hrs apart 4hrs apart or even just having 3 big meals a day it wont make a difference as long as ur getting ur macros (now this is considering u get a PWO shake in too so i guess 3 meals and a "snack")

I actually think it does matter how far apart you have your meals. I get up earlier and eat ever 3 hours and a meal 1 hour after my post workout shake. The steady stream of nutrients is much better than eating bigger meals 3 or 4 times a day.

i have to disagree with the 3 meals a day thing, if your body can only absorb a certain amount of protein from one meal, and you only eat 3 big ones a day, your in a way cheating yourself out of getting what you could get from 5 or 6 meals a day

Metabolically, it doesn't make a difference. But, it could be more tolerable on the stomach to consume 6 meals at 600 calories, rather than 3 meals at 1200 calories (for example).

its been proven plenty of times that meal frequency isnt nearly as important as most people think it is. Its just easier to eat 6 smaller meals because you dont get so hungy in between 3 large meals.. in the end, it wont effect you that much if any to stretch your meals to even 5 or 6 hours apart.

    THIS

It doesn't matter how many, when, where, how. It just matters that you get protein, EFAs, fiber, and overall calories. If you have all of those things you are golden.

Who cares it doesnt matter. Eat 3 or eat 10. If ur getting the good stuff into u then it doesnt really make a difference. If u find it easier to eat 10 meals do it. If u find it easier to eat 3 big meals then do that. Concentrate on hitting the gym. Thats the main reason for muscle growth.

Maybe he likes it or hes misguided and took alot of broscience advice. But seriously 2g protein per body weight is overkill even if ur workout is insane.
