and i'm guessing i should just use some other source of fat? but what?

I'm guessing that if you thought it had 0 cals that you already have the fat you need worked into your macros?
What are you putting it on?

Are you seriously using enough sprays that you're worried about the extra calories? Geez.

We used to unscrew the cap and DUMP it on veggies...I don't know how many sprays that would have consisted of but if you eat veggies like that all day it could definitely add up.

The LOL factor depends on how you use spray butter. Spray butter has 20 calories per teaspoon so it isn't much more a "free food" than real butter is at 35 cals/teaspoon. If you like making your toast soggy with butter like I do (and like to POUR it in oats, rice, sweetpotatos, veggies, baked pears, fish...omg I lived off that stuff), and you're using it all day long thinking you're getting that fatty, salty flavor for free it can certainly add up.
I only count my toothpaste in my monthly calorie tally...

What about the
"I can't believe it's not butter light spray" (a.k.a. the product with the longest name ever)? Anybody else use that? I think it says 0 calories...not sure what a serving is...I'm not exactly sure what's in this stuff? margarine?

OP - yeah, nothing is really free even when the labels say it. if you want an alternative, check out smart balance light or another trans-fat free butter spread. i like using real butter so i've adjusted my macros to include it. that's another option.
here is the fda specifications for health claims and descriptive terms - very interesting!
JVo- I'm pretty sure that's the product that the OP is talking about. seems they've masterfully used the exact serving size (1.25 sprays (0.25g) to comply with regulations and label the fat/cals at zero!

common sense should tell you that oils and fats will have calories in them, regardless of what the labels say...

Lol - the serving size is about 1.2223334234 sprays .. its not even a possible number and no one ever usues that amount
So, there ends up being a caloric addition to your meals (even if one thinks otherwise)

LOL - you would 'think'... But do you think most bb'ers follow 'common sense' when it comes to nutrition and training?

no need to cut it out...
If 5 sprays = 4.5 cals = 0.5g fat.
10 sprays = 9 cals = 1g fat.
20 sprays = 18 cals = 2g fat.
So... you know... if you are using like 50-100 sprays a day - then you might want to consider counting it to your total.

As Emma said, it still works out to be very small numbers, which is why I giggled when I read through this thread...Unless you're like Amanda and almost drinking it
Counting toothpaste as cals Bahahha mmmm Toothpaste!
