    Bee Pollen for energy?

Someone told me bee pollen gives you energy for a good workout. Has anyone heard of taking bee pollen pre workout for energy? if you have, name of brand and amount taken would be helpful, thanx.

I've heard that bee pollen is complete snakeoil. I actually was taking a mix green supplement which contained it in it, and for some reason I had a terrible shortness of breath and tightness in my chest while taking it.

As soon as I stopped it went away. Maybe I'm allergic to bees? but yeah, bee pollen = hogwash
