    What methods do you utilize to prevent yourself from using the momentum in your legs to help you during the dips or pull-ups?

    Keep em straight , dont jerk and focus on doing the movement solely with ur arms and chest (if u training it)

    this. I've honestly never even had any type of problem with excess momentum during dips. I just keep my legs bent and crossed and i've had no problems.
