    How long should i bulk for before i start cutting?

    Hi.

    Height: 5' 8"

    Im currently on a bulk. I started on 133lbs and are now up to approx 144lbs.

    As expected im gaining some fat on my stomache, abit too much according to myself. Im just wondering how long i should bulk up for before i start the cutting phase. My goal is to weigh 155lbs by the summer. And the current plan is to bulk up for 5 months, then cut for 1 month. Does this sound realistic?

    I dont know how ppl cut, if they go 1month up, 2 weeks down or 2 months up, 1 month down etc.. Is it allright to bulk for 5 months or am i gonna gain alot of fat that's gonna be hard to cut off afterward? What's the normal Bulk:Cut ratio?

    However long you want. If you notice weight gain too fast, reduce calories.

    But there's not point of bulking 2 weeks, then start cutting the 3rd week, repeat?

    Wait some more bro, and keep bulking. I was similar stats as you when I started, I was about 130 pounds, and now I'm 155. I have never been on a cut yet, as I still believe I can put on more mass.

    Keep bulking, keep eating, keep lifting hard.

    It takes about a month to gain 1lb of muscle. Why in God's name would you bulk for two weeks?

    You choose. One or the other. Do it for a while. Rinse and repeat.
