I've been getting weird sensations in my chest (sternum area). It feels like it's right between all the ribs that attach to the sternum. Not sure if it's muscle spasms or what. It happens maybe once a week or so. Certain ways I move - like if I reach my arms up overhead or if I try to stretch out my chest by rolling my shoulders back - I feel a catch, almost like a pinch, in my sternum area. It's quite painful, and there are little clicking noises (sounds like when you crack your knuckles, but not quite that loud). When whatever it is in my sternum area clicks/cracks, it doesn't hurt; it actually feels good. I'm quite sure it's not a pulled muscle or a hairline fractured sternum because it doesn't hurt when I sneeze or cough, and I'm sure the pain would be a LOT worse.
Anyone have a clue as to what this might be?
