I been reading on doing deadlifts correctly and i came across some contradictions between my sources. At the top of the movement, do you arch your lower back so the butt sticks out or do you squeeze the glutes? (I found that if I squeeze the glutes, my butt doesn't stick out as much and my back isn't as arched) Rep for good answers

back straight, ass out. not sure what you mean by arch your lower back, but should look something like this.
