    Sugar vs Protein

Hello everyone. I have a question. Is it bad to have almost the same amount of sugar and protein before a workout? I read that, ultimately, protein's benefits outweighs sugar's non-benefits if you were to have the same amount of each; although, I'm very unsure of this. Thanks for reading. I'm looking forward to seeing the answers.

Raino, you should not be eating fried chicken with tons of ranch before working out.. Eat carbs, they eventually turn into sugar which will give you lots of energy.. Also alot healthier than fried chicken w/ ranch
