-Kvkx111 daily log. Journey to the 09 draft.
I'm going to give this a shot, I've never kept a log before so we'll see I'm going to attempt to log what I do as far as training, and diet each day.
From now up until about mid may.
I figure this might help me keep track of things, + might be helpful to some younger kids who are also looking to play baseball.
A couple of terms I'll use to keep the entries shorter:
Short run= a mostly flat 3-4 mile run out side.
Long run= a slightly hilly 5-6 mile run out side. (Usually only done during the off season.)
The Hill= 3 mile run to the hill, a 1 mile run up a very steep road hill road that is litterly a mile long incline, a 1/2 flat run at the top of the hill, then 1 mile back down and 3 miles back.
For a total of about 9 miles.
The Hill long, a run up the hill then around the mountain a 18 mile run usually only done in the off season.
The bag= 12 3 min rounds with 1 min rests in between, on the heavy bag, kick boxing. + practicing a few take downs.
Some times I spare/grapple with my 2 bothers instead.
Outline of current work outs:
2 days a week:
Day 1:
1.Light-moderate explosive dead lifts 3 reps 3 sets.
2. Standing explosive shoulder press basically a jerk, from a clean and jerk. 2 sets 3 reps.
3. Wide grip pull ups super set with dips 3 sets. 15 reps on pull ups 20 on dips.
Day 2:
1. Squats light-moderate 3 reps 3 sets.
2. Standing explosive shoulder press basically a jerk, from a clean and jerk. 2 sets 3 reps.
4. Abs usually 2 sets of sit ups + 3 sets of leg raises with added weight.
5. Wide grip pull ups super set with dips 3 sets. 15 reps on pull ups 20 on dips.
Off topic but still relevant this has to be fit in between baseball, school, and trying to work part time to make some money.
School is 8am-1pm m-f, baseball times varys any time from right after school to as late as 8-11pm.
But for right now it is mostly inside and from 8-10 or 11.
+My own baseball practice.
Daily planed* schedules: (For now, will change as the season progresses)
Monday: 8am-1pm class 1-3 h/w 3-4 short run, 4-6 free* 6-8 batting cage, 8-10 baseball practice.
Tuesday: 8am-1pm class 1-2 h/w 2-6 Hill+day1 6-7 work (training, a person) 8-10 baseball practice.
Wednesday: 8am-1pm class 1-3 h/w 3-6 batting cage, 6-7 free* 8-10 baseball practice.
Thursday: 8am-1pm class 1-3 h/w 3-4 short run 4-5 the bag, 5-7 free* 8-10 baseball practice.
Friday: 8am-1pm class 1-3 h/w 3-5 The hill, 5-6 batting cage 6- all night free, unless thier's a baseball practice but usually not.
Saturday: 8am-11am baseball practice, 12-1 work (training a person) 1-2 short run, 2-3 day2. 3-5 batting cage 5-? free.
Sunday: Church +h/w /free all day.\
Free* usually means I'm working, (building computers/selling them for a profit/fixing computers)

First day of log entry 1.
Monday, so far today, I drank 2 eggs on my way out the door to school. I just got back from school not long ago, and I'm now eating 7 eggs, and a bowl of raw milk with some frozen blueberries (yes MMm like healthy ice cream,).
I plan to go run for a run within an hour or so I think I'm going to run the hill just because I feel extra good today, but I'll see how I feel once I actually get outside. And if my brother wants to run it with me or not.
I'll check back in tonight after baseball.

that is definitely intense, but if you aren't out there throwing full 9+ innings every time out, i don't know what running 18 miles would possibly do for you.
only a 2 hour practice in college?
subbed

Usually 3 hours, but the schedule I put up is tentative, just meant to give an idea.
And 18 mile runs as I said are mostly done in the off season. And I know it's a bit far but I really enjoy running so I do a bit more then I have to.
And Yes I plan to throw the full 9 every time I go out, or at the very least 7.

day 1 post 2.
My brother did want to run so i did end up going up the hill, he being a hero though raced trying to beat me to the top, but being as he was sprinting he ran out of gas half way up and had to walk. But any way I got a good run in.
After I got back from the run, I made some liver, marinated it in a ton of onions, garlic, and olive oil, then just touched the pan for less then 4 seconds to barley make the out side of the liver brown. Then put the liver inbetween some thin whole wheat pita bread, and chowed down.
After that I went to the batting cage, for an hour and a half, got 16 rounds in (1 round =25 pitches) so 400 swings.
Then went to baseball practice, went well, I need to concentrate on pushing off more on the rubber, staying taller, and coming straight down and not turning to the side when I finish. But over all a good practice.
Edit: Now home eating some raw milk and blue berries then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Don't have time to go into detail.
But not so much red meat as a standard hamburger won't provide many benefits raw. (also not safe I wouldn't recommend a raw hamburger from wallmart you better make sure you have the meet from a trusted source) Where as a things like raw liver and heart will.
All of the live enzymes that help your body adsorb and use the food, and all the vitamin chains are left undamaged, all of the B vitamins B 12, 6 3, etc. vit D, and A, and damaged easily by heat.

Idk if I'd say that's all I had a fair amount of liver.
But yes I'm trying to maintain well below natural body weight. Of about 220, my body is naturally 240ish so I have to take in less then my normal cals to maintain a lower weight even combined with running.

Day 2 entry 2.
Had 12 eggs, warped in whole wheat pita bread, ran the hill again today just because I don't want to mess my schedule up.
Going to go lift day 1 work out right now.

Day 2 entry 3.
Lifted day 1.
Ate a bowl of healthy home made chili with a lot of hamburger, and a slice of whole wheat bread.
Ate a bowl of raw milk and frozen blueberries.
Called the coach and requested to be excused from practice tonight because I have a crap load of studying to do before tomorrow morning.

Yes for the most part.
Edit: If I could I'd eat steak all day every day for breakfast lunch and dinner with no carbs, and I did for 2 months last year during the winter eat nothing but (my dad got a good deal on a half a cow, for $200) it and I gained more then then any other time.
