How much caffeine should one person have?

I notice a lot of supplements have caffeine in it, and usually says how much caffeine there is in one scoop of whatever. Some pills say that you should'nt have any caffeine with the pills.

Im taking these diet pills, suppose to be 3 in the morning but I take two, then at lunch before I workout I take one diet pill then right before my workout I take some supplements that have caffeine in it. The pills says that having 3 of them you shouldn't have any caffeine, but since I only take one at lunch, I should be fine with my other supplements.

But in general how much caffeine should one person have/take?

usually diet pill servings and energy pills that have caffeine dose it around 150-250mg... I'd say try not to go over 500-600mg/day .

200 miligrams is a normal serving in No-Doz and other over the counter caffeine pills. Most servings of pre-work out powders have 200-300 milligrams depending how many scoops you take. NCAA rules state you will test positive for caffeine if the concentration in urine exceeds 15 micrograms/ml.

Usually, most people do OK on 200 milligrams if they take it early in the day. A lot of people exceed that. 600 milligrams is excessive in a 24 hour period.

Regular caffeine use can really screw with your sleep.

I would opt on the low side. The least amount you can take and still get the benefits would be the obvious and sensible answer to your question. Only you can find the answer to it.
