    Workout Soundtrack, Shuffle....how do you listen at the gym?

    So, how do you listen to your music at the gym or when you work out?
    Do you have a workout soundtrack you like to use?

    I personally just throw the mp3 player on shuffle, unless I have a new album I want to listen to.

    Do you guys ever bring the CD book to the gym to read the lyrics when you're on the cardio equipment for a long time?

    I have a "gym" playlist. it starts with alter bridge and the mayfield four, but I rarely get past those, because when I'm on cardio I watch live vids of alter bridge (gotta love video ipods. ). 9 times out of 10 it's better than what's on the tvs.

    I always put together a playlist in where I rotate different artists. A while back, things started to get repetitive because I'd essentially go to the gym listening to the same list of songs...so I eventually started to rotate different artists each time.

    mine starts with alterbridge too.

    alterbridge gets me pumped up
    red keeps me pumped up
    mix in some rap
    12 stones also. my playlist is usually pretty much the same but i switch up so i dont get bored with it.

    i just throw ipdo on shuffle. if a bad or slow song comes up i skip it
