Not so much injury, but I'm really really sick, what can I do?

    Hey,
I just spent all of last night and this morning throwing up. I'm not sure what caused it, but now I have a fever, am very sluggish, have a headache, stomachaches, etc. and I feel awful. Tomorrow I have to get back to my regular life with no more time than today to recover.
I'm really hungry and was wondering what would be the best things to eat to help get me back on my feet? I'm nervous about throwing up again, but I'm seriously really, really, really hungry (my last 2 meals of yesterday are gone, it's now 1:30pm here and I haven't thrown up in about 3-4 hrs, but I haven't eaten either).

I'm making a grilled cheese sandwhich on low-cal bread, I haven't had one in years and it just sounds good. Is this ok?
I was also thinking a light activia yogurt, and a protein shake.

    Thanks!

When I become as ill as you describe I stick with clear liquids for at least 24 hours. This is also typically prescribed for patient's at the hospital where I work. I get really tired of eating chicken broth, drinking water, drinking juice, etc. But, it works for me.
