Whey
So today I got a present, a whey protein. It is my first whey.
Im lifting for 4 months. Do I have to take it?
Will it stunt my fat loss?
If i stop lifting , my muscles will turn to fat fast?
And how much i have to take? when? and with what? water? milk?
sorry for stupid questions cause im new in lifting.

Firstly see how many percentage of protein the supllement contains for 100grams.
Maybe 70gr/%, maybe about 100gr of proteins for 100gr of powder, take a look.
Secondly take so much the supplement that it would contain 30-40gr of protein. First step done, then second should be easy.
Then add 60-80gr of carbs, it can be supplement, or a juice, milk.
Drink immediately after workout this shake that contains 30-40gr of protein and 60-80gr of carbs.
1h after such shake, eat a normal meal. Don't take this shake any other time, only after workout.

Funny enough, it was the first time today i had my first Whey protein shake, i took it with milk. I put 3 scoopes of the shake/power in and it made me feel sick, apparently this is right for the first few times so i wasn't to worried.
But i have a question myself, what will it actually do, i know that it will help my muscles from stop helping aching but is there anythink else?

In you body during whole day lot of chemistry is done with proteins. This process (protein synthesis) develops muscles. The fat is burned inside the muscles. The more muscles you have the more fat-burning environment it is.
So, to help this process, one have to train muscles and eat enough protein. Muscles get bigger, and burn inside of them energy that comes from fat-cells. Training, and eating. You supplement will help on that process of course.
Do some months of trainings, eat properly, then weight goes down.

Muscles aching is normal when:
* one havent trained for a while, pain will be 3-8 days.
* one used not usual training techique, that is suprise for body, pain will be 2-4days.
If you have 1st case, then wait a week, and next week there wont be any pain.
In supplements amino acid called "glutamine" is mainly for repairing you broken muscles. So, eat any protein foods- eggs, meat,..-those protein foods contain that amino acid, which helps to remove that muscle pain.
Sleeping is important, sleep minimum 7 hours a day, at sleep time the lot of muscle repairement will be done.
So, to remove pain:
1) sleep well
2) eat propably, with enough protein
3) don't be away from workouts more than 4 days
