A real man could have done that without the protective cloth wrapped round...Lol jk, that was awesome.
BTW, is that the theatrical screechings of Cradle Of Filth I hear in the background?

There is a Pro Strongman named Corey St. Clair, that post on the boards some and has a bodyspace. (I can't access my bodyspace account at the moment or i'd post a link to his account. just search his name and it should be easy enough to find though).

They do a lot of that stuff on the gripboard. Personally I'm more impressed with real strength like lifting heavy ****, not tearing some cheap cards. Most of stuff you listed is not that hard to do once you learn proper technique.

These types of strengths are awesome haha.

the OP is a VERY well respected member on the GB, he was asking about people here.
Hey Mark! You know me, no need to state what it is that I do
That's not even slightly true, not even a little bit. I'm all of about 170 pounds and not to sound cocky but I'd bet every piece of equipment I own that I could beat you on all of those lifts except stone lifting and maybe tearing as thats not really my specialty.

Negged, Cradle of Sh!t is such a horrible excuse for BM.
Anyways,
I think the old feats of strength are awesome. Sure a big guy can squat down and use his ass to power up a heavy bar, but applicational grip and hand strength is neat as well. You use your hands so often every day, it'd be awesome to see what they can do when trained for power. You can tell a hard working man from a pencil-pusher by his handshake.

post any one of those feats on video....otherwise you're just another loudmouth....
bend a RED or a Bastard
Close #3
lift 250+lb on a rolling thunder
etc
I would be willing to bet you'd be nowhere close to any of these feats.

Hi Derek & Zach!
Nice to see some more GB members here
Thanks for the nice replies guys. To clarify some things:
I do the regular lifts as well, but it's not as unique as these feats are, so it's not really worth posting IMO. What would you prefer to see, me breaking a lock, or me benching 300lbs for example?
Btw, I did make a video of a strict one hand overhead press with a 52kg (114lbs) dumbbell, see the link below for the video:
More videos of me can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/mvogels
I've torn some phone books as well, but as you can kind of cheat with it with certain technique, the general public won't see the difference.
I haven't blown a waterbottle (definitely not a hot one ) yet, but it's something I would love to do some day.
I train with grippers as well, and working towards the #3.5 now, see my videos for a close of the #3 for example.
As for the wraps when breaking a lock. I've done some bending barehanded in the past, but It's really hard on the skin and not too good for the nerves in the hands either. Even with wraps I've cut myself and got blisters from bending, so they really are required for protection
And the inch dumbbell, well I have a replica at home, but I'm still training for it. I'm not there yet
Zach, I lifted 174,2kg & 134,4kg on the replica rings last monday and I could've lifted more but my skin started tearing, so if I feel strong next monday I'll give 190kg & 150kg a try
Of course there's a video of the lifts from last monday on youtube as well
Cheers!
Mark

I think the "tr00" and "kvlt" BMers see BM as having no keyboards + atmospherics etc. Therefore many of the bands you just posted are not "kvlt".
FAIL!

Hey, I'm not defending what the elitist twats say, I'm just being pedantic in stating what kvlt is and what it is not.
BTW, Bathory are ****ing awesome.

I am part of a group that does this type of feats. Personally, I do:
tear decks of cards(biker) in my hands
bend nails
bend a 5/8 thick,4 foot bar in my teeth
tear 3 inch phone books
blow up hot water bottles
break baseball bats over my back and thighs
crush pop cans in my hands

250+ on rolling thunder is ridiculous, I can't think of many people in world who can do that that have a normal size hand. Most of feats of grip strength, if you have a big hand you'll be able to do 99% of the 'hard' feats out there.
And a lot of them require tricks or technique and anyone can do them.

I would really expect less trolling from someone not heavily in the red. That's not at all true, having a big hand helps with some things, but you're definitely WAY off base dude. Oh and ok then lets see a 200+ RT pull from you, plenty of average sized handed people have done that and I bet you're not even mildly close.
Tricks or techniques huh? Please do any of these amazing feats with a trick or a technique:

(My embs aren't working for whatever reason)
I can keep going if you prefer, I have about a million videos from various friends that now apparently are all just tricks and techniques and must be easy. Damn why have I been training this so hard for nearly 2 years to get to the Elite position I'm at when I could've just learned these simple tricks and techniques
