There has been much hate towards Kai Greene in this section of the BB.com forums lately. There have been judgments on physique and posing routines which have been pushing the envelope. Everybody on these boards are entitled to their opinions of course, and I respect the mature criticism and praise from both sides. However, some members on this board (everyone knows who they are) have been posting immature responses that have been criticizing Kai as a person. Remarks along the lines of "homo posing" and what not are not needed. I don't care how much experience in bodybuilding you have, your height, your weight, your numbers...If you come in here and speak like that you need to re-evaluate your self-security and self-respect. All viewpoints posted in a mature and constructive manner are by all means welcome and encouraged to the fullest extent. However, if you are going to come in here and start making insults than you best gtfo. Worse, members getting into childish arguments which progress into 2 page threads...embarrassing to the boards...
Quotes such as:
"Kai is a ****ing disgrace. Neg me all the **** you want! I love his physique but the homo needs to go."
The only person who needs to go is the 13 year old who posted this crap. If the mods aren't going to clean up the trash, than I am going to start doing it. Get your head straight or gtfo the boards. The concept couldn't be more simple.
Now that is said, whether you choose to make idiotic comments directed towards his posing routine or not, realize the dedication and level this man has reached. I personally enjoy his routines, however I do feel some of the poses he hits just do not present his body from a judge's standpoint. Nonetheless, it would be nice if the competition could come up with something exciting and different like Kai has stepped out on the ledge to do.

Kai's my favorite bodybuilder of all time and i think people judge way too much on his past and dont focus on how smart of a bodybuilder he is. He my not look it but if you listen to one of his training videos hes actually a very intelligent person when it comes to muscles and training. He also has the physique to show for it.
Truth be told.

For a dude who still has his grapefruit fukcing vids readily available online now that he's got a sponsor and won shows, he's walking a slippery slope with the gay posing.
Please note that I'm otherwise a fan of his posing, just not the zealous dancing and the, let's say... "liberal" moves he throws in his routines as well. A little more solid posing, a LOT less gayness and he would be adored by all. That is NOT much to ask. I'm not a stickler for conformity, but I don't know a single person that would be able to sit through his posing routines unless they are a shmoe loving, G4P subscribing cum guzzler.
Watching dudes flex in flashy undies is already hard enough to defend to peers. Does Kai really have to squat around on stage with his ass cheeks spread and his banana hammock flying around the stage? Completely unnecessary..

Fukc you. I've probably had more heterosexual SEX than you will ever have in your entire life. I'm completely fine with my sexuality and have gay friends who said Kai Greene dances like a "f*g" - this was the statement my friend, an openly gay person made. He said he looks elegant and graceful until he nails a few of his signature moves. Disgusting.
Kai needs to take down the G4P sites now that he has a sponsor and is making money. Call it gay or call it disgusting, that **** where he's bending over and squatting across the stage needs to go. Plain and simple. As a side note, it would be beneficial for him to possibly incorporate a couple more mandatory/traditional poses. He doesn't have to bend to conformity or anything, but FFS he competes in bodybuilding shows. He keeps posing even when his time's up. That's disrespectful to the other competitors and probably just annoys the judges after a while.
I sort of like Kai and I WANT to like him more, but I can't stand to watch his routines because of his shockingly disturbing dancing.

^^^^^This
And I can't help but LOL at the guys calling others homophobes just because they don't like Kai's posing. Can you honestly stand there and say you like some of his routines, most of which don't even involve bodybuilding, but dancing?
And I agree with the grapefruit thing too. Kai has enough money now that he shouldn't have to rely on that stuff. Didn't Serge Nubret get in trouble or was hindered from placing well by the IFBB because of some ranchy videos he had

Kai has put in the years of dedication (which i wish, and im sure a lot of you, had an eighth of) and hard work. Why not let him do what he wants?
In MD's last issue this topic is brought up and he says that he is bringing something new to the sport. I think some of his moves are a little out there, but what about Toney Freeman who thrusts his junk all over stage?
If you are already admiring a pretty much naked man, what is the big deal if he makes up some moves/poses of his own?
And lastely, I hope Kai does amazing in the Arnold and O later this year. He is definitely deserving, but hopefully politics don't ruin his chances.Do another set...

I personally think Kai has the most potential to equalize Ronnie (and Haney's) run in the next few years. I'm not saying he definitely will, but IMO he has the genetics, the structure and the drive to take home a good number of Sandows. IMO it's gonna be Vic this year, then Heath and Wolf will battle it out for a few years, then Kai baby will swoop in and reign for a long time.
Just my opinion.

No hate to Kai...he's an awesome bodybuilder and smart bodybuilder...but I personally just think he needs to turn down his posing routine a notch
I try to watch them..but I just cant sometimes when the dancing is overpowering the actual Posing
I really enjoy the classical style posing..like Hidetada at the ironman 09...
as for the grapefruit scandal...its true...it was in the past...Brother really needed some dough...but that doesnt make him gay
there are tons of NPC and IFBB bodybuilders that have posed for gay websites and junk..just to make some changeLast edited by AlexxMaxx; 02-12-2009 at 01:01 AM.

i dont like his face. he reminds me of the grinch who stole christmas. that and he's a fuking goof. finally, his waist is too big. thats my opinion and if you dont like it OP you can choke on a dick.
You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told you're a god or a total bastard. The iron always kicks you the real deal. It's the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. I have found it to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But 200 pounds is always 200 pounds.
