Intensive Wrestling Camps
Which ones make you the best
I know J-Rob is supposed to be the best out there, but Ive been reading about the 9 day Navy SEAL wrestling camp and the "Ranger Style" wrestling camp
they all sound intense but which ones are the best. If i can im gonna go to 2.

you really don't need to go too many camps... what you should do is go to a club for the whole off-season (spring, summer, & fall) and wrestle as much as possible. learn new moves, drill your ass off, get stronger/quicker, etc.

yea you probably heard about the 30 day camp at j-rob. think hell week [navy seals] for wrestlers.
but the most important thing in the offseason is doing tournaments and as many live matches as possible. that improves your wrestling alottt

lol.... and do you know how long it is from the camp til the season starts??? quite a few months. i never said camps are bad, i just said it's not necessary to attend many of them because they are high-priced. of course you want to wrestle as much as possible... but what really matters is whether or not you're wrestling the whole entire off season as opposed to on and off.

Not to be a dick, but generally, all of these intensive camps if ran by professional, athletic, and knowledgeable people, your results will be great. I agree with the poster that talked about club wrestling. Doesn't matter if you went to all of these camps, if you don't have experience you will be in the same spot, actually probably a bit better, but you won't be in your ideal spot. Theres more to the sport than just the match. You have to battle their body when its heightened from all the external pressure. Youre mental toughness will be challenges more in a real match. You have to train yourself to listen to a coach when moms are screaming at the top of their lungs, and you can't hear a damn thing.

-Do a camp
-Compete in competitions.
BTW whichever you choose, good luck.
