You don't HAVE to cycle any kind of creatine.

well i mean for it to still be really effective without having to increase the dosage

Creatine remains effective without increasing the dosage. There is a finite amount you can absorb, and more is not better. I use creatine 11 months per year and only stop for the month after I compete, when I come off all supplements to give my body a break.

Cycling creatine is a personal preference just as the "loading phase" is. If you want to do it, feel free, otherwise its not necessary.
