no, dont drop the cardio. that is a stupid ass thing to say. he obviously needs to lose weight, not gain weight, idiot. you can lose fat and build muscle at the same time. and he isnt gonna get a better foundation by getting heavier.
OP do cardio every day for 30+ minutes and pick a workout routine you want to do. imo i would just do a lot of research and see what is best for you.

Look man, Im not going to get into a long argument like a always do.
I read the op's post and assumed he had the general goal of a moderatley sized physique. Not many people know what SS is unless they are interested in building muscle. It would be alot easier to commit ones self 100% to lifting for a couple months, then cut fat, than to do both over a longer period of time.
Weightloss, and general health can be very opioinated at times. I once thought cardio was the best way to burn fat but I read that article and applied it, and it changed the way I looked at weight-loss. Weight-loss is no longer a concern, I want to gain mass, plain and simple.

good for you man but this guy wants to lose weight, obviously. the best way to do that is to lift, and do cardio. i dont care what you say about your stupid article, ive lost 60lbs running on a treadmill. you, or that guy cant tell me running doesnt do ****. tired of people just listening to other peoples bull**** and believing it.
