Looks like the rest of the thread agrees with me. I thought you actually lost definition over time. You used to be able to see where your delts cut into your tris/bis but now it's covered over in fat it seems. Maybe cut down your cals, and train a little harder..

here is my source genius. go watch the worlds strongest man. most of those guys carry very heavy amounts of fat. how are they strong? hmmmmmm IDK!? also look at this retard, you bulk up and you get strength, then when you cut you lose strength. why would this happen if fat didnt help you lift heavier weight?

i dont think fat makes you strong, but rather it is easier to get stronger when you have fat.
for example its probably easier to put on muscle eating a lot over maintainance rather then a small excess, but once you have the muscle mass, you can cut the fat and you will be equally strong (also long as you cut the right way), but for power lifters fat helps in some cases, like bench, it makes them that a smaller ROM and therefore can lift heavier.

no. you dont know what you are talking about. if you cut fat you are going to lose weight on your lifts. plain and simple. and being fatter doesnt help you put on massive amounts of muscle. Arnold Schwarzenegger would only bulk up 10lbs in the off season. you guys wanna bulk up 20-30lbs. you wont see much except fat. ill use myself as an example now. when i was a junior i squatted 365lbs 7 times at 240lbs. now at 181 i probably cant even do that once. why? because i lost a **** load of fat! i swear some of you kids are so dumb.

I think its because they eat a **** ton of food, careless of their appearance simply to make them stronger as quick as possible.
When you cut you lose some muscle, thus lose some strength. If the power lifters bulked up to a certain extent, cut to lose the flab (whilst losing a bit of muscle), then bulked up again, surpassing their previous bulk, I think think they would have the same strength if not more then when they were fatter. They just simply don't care though. To us, our appearance matters, to them.. not so much (not all obviously). So they continuously eat food to gain more strength and pretty much never cut I'd guess..

"I bought ice cream today. It rained today. Therefore, it rains when I buy ice cream"
This is an incredibly weak argument, so much so that I'm not even sure if you're serious. What other people have said is true. Powerlifters may be fat because it's about getting strong, not looking comp ready. And cutting will lose some muscle no matter how careful you are. You have 1 day to provide a credible source, retract your statement, or negz"Look at yourself in the mirror each morning before you go to the gym; that's the guy you want to beat every time."

your a complete idiot never post an opinion again please.
If you are eating over matience you will put on some fat, but you are building muscle so you will get stronger. When you eat below matience you will burn fat, but also lose some muscle, hence getting weaker.
Ya you were stronger at 240 cause you had more muscle, obv. on a 40lb cut you arent going to be able to hold onto all the muscle you had at 240.
K thanks come again retard.
Putting on fat will not increase your strength, but you will put on some while gaining muscle, that will increase your strength. The muscle.
So why are the fat 200lb+ kids weaker then me, yet they have tons more fat high in 20%?"Hell is not a place you go if you're not a Christian, it's the failure of your life's greatest ambitions"
