no, not to any significant degree. And sprinting will increase cortisol (although not as significant as longer duration cardio). The main hormonal increase during sprints is GH.

lifting as well as any form of exercise will increase cortisol. The longer you exercise, typically the larger increase in cortisol (at least to a certain point).

Also lifting will increase GH levels especially if multi joint movements such as squats, deads etc... are done during the workout. Also a type of training that causes a large amount of lactate to be released will end up spiking GH the most. (moderately high reps and short rest periods)

well...... probably not. Reason being is that these spikes of GH aren't prolonged like maybe some injections of GH would be (which is what would be used for those who are shorter than normal). Your body tends to down regulate GH production rather quick once it increases past basal levels. This is exactly why "GH booster" supplements don't really work.

Sprinting increase HGH more so than any other exercise. There are many articles on this.

"The 30 second all-out effort cycle sprint experiment increased HGH by 530% over resting baseline. And the 30 second sprint produced a response 450% greater than the lesser intensity sprint. (A summary of this study can be seen at the National Institutes of Health, link below.)"

"Researchers show that HGH can be increased by as much as 530 percent through sprinting activities"

Isn't GH the building blocks for testosterone?

Short resting periods? Hm... What do you consider a short resting period? Because I wait around 2mins between sets, doing about 4-6 reps.
