    BCAAS while you train

Do you absolutely need to drink BCAAS while you workout, in order to preserve and prevent muscle catabolism?

No. If you have proper pre-WO and post-WO nutrition, it is not all that important. I take aminos and glutamine between lifting and cardio but not during. I have competed 4 times.

ok thanks, my pre and post meals are good and contain BCAAS. Just checking to see if supplementing them while you train would make a difference

I think BCAA's are best for fasted cardio or when you are in a real caloric deficit. Other than that they don't have too much of a need.

whoa!!! Branched chain amino acids are the most abundant aminos in ur body they're very important for protein synthesis i would take them pre during and post workout but buy capsules not powder so u can just pop them every 15 mins or like me pop 1 every set.

    wow, whats with the stack?

two pump products, either a steroid, or a test booster, stacked with an additional ai, and a fat burner. there are so many contradictions and illogical choices there. you need to ask yourself, why am i taking this for every single product, and if your reason is already covered, redundant or doesnt make sense, ditch it!

well on a cut, NO products serve no purpose, and you are taking two of them. halodrol lg is a test booster with an ai, as is novedex xt being an ai. therefore you are double stacking ai's which is never a good idea. if it is original halodrol it is a steroid and that would create a whole other issue. basically the majority of your stack makes no sense. drop the two NO products. drop one of the test boosters, and you are much better off. (use cytolean pre workout, you are getting way too much caffeine).

Very interested in this though and couldn't get it to work.

Basically you can build muscle while eating less dietary protein was my impression... obviously I wanted to verify this.

Very interested in this though and couldn't get it to work.

    Thanks!
    No prob.

Your impression is the same as mine except that it's not necessarily eating less calories or protein but eating less frequently that is a key point by Layne. But, of course with the muscle protein synthesis from leucine you could get away with eating less protein IMO.

Yeah just finished skimming over it, I thought they'd avoid the "bigger" meal due to insulin response but that doesn't seem to be an issue here. I'm definitely going to give this a go. I've been looking for something new to help me get a Natty Pro physique by late 09 / 10. And this is just an excuse to drink BCAA's at work, i'll take it.

    thanks again.
