    Best Carb Supplement

Looking for a good carb supplement. I've heard good things about Glycergrow but not sure when I should take it. Thanks

pretty sure glycergrow is not a carb supplement at all.

As far as carb supps go, I'd recommend Avant Research SuperCarb.

What would be the purpose the supplement? Just to add to MRP's, to increase endurance while working out, spiking insulin, glycogen replenishment PWO?

Having hypoglycemia, the last thing you want is a carb supplement. You need to try and avoid the spike in insulin.
Can I ask why you think the only place you get energy is from carbs?

I'm hypoglycemic myself, and finally have it under control by going on a lower carb diet.

I've thought about that but if I don't eat a sufficient amount of carbs I'm drained. The more carbs I eat the more glycogen I have

What do you eat if you don't have carbs? I have yet to find a good diet to give me good energy throughout the day

Aren't you exhausted after symptoms arise anyway? The roller coaster ride all day long wears on your body bro. And it doesn't get any better as time goes by. I started piling on fat, burned out my adrenal system.
That tiredness from initially going low carb goes away after some time, and I now have a more consistent energy level then I have had in years.
Its the best decision I've made in a long time.

Don't quote me but I believe your body will produce so much glycogen a day from protein when in a carb depleted state (layne detailed this somewhere). But my question is there something or a lifestyle interferance preventing you from eating carbs from food? I mean hell eating carbs is where it's at, best food source IMO period. Last thing I tend to supplement outside Dextrose.

That extra sugar is what starts the chain reaction in the first place. Your body overcompensates and releases too much insulin, resulting in lower blood sugar. Then you have more carbs, and the ride starts all over again.

I'm so active and young it's hard to find time to sit down and eat. I've taken a 100 gram carb drink and that's the best I've ever felt.

NOW has a 15lb bag of dextrose for like 20 bucks or so I think. I just fill my old protein jug with that and 1 old protein scoop roughly = 40 grams of Dex.

Could try something like that and see if it helps, add it to a protein shake. Weight gainers are too expensive for my blood.

It messes with my vision and dries em out like a bastard.

Look at the CHA diet on this site, and get some general ideas.

Wow, that sucks. What do you do for a living?
Ultimate goal: to engage in a healthy lifestyle which I can sustain and enjoy for
the rest of my existence. No "diets", no "cycles". Just constantly improve.

Let no one persuade you by word or deed to do or say whatever is not best for you.

    If he's hypoglycemic:

The most common forms of moderate and severe hypoglycemia occur as a complication of treatment of diabetes mellitus treated with insulin or less frequently with certain oral medications. Hypoglycemia is usually treated by the ingestion or administration of dextrose, or foods quickly digestible to glucose.

The treatment of dextrose is to quickly alleviate symptoms- thats why you see people offering candy or juice to a diabetic who is suffering an attack of low blood sugar. It isn't a long term treatment of hypoglycemia.
