    Calling out all sprinters

    Where does most of the running power come from? The Hammies or Quads? I know its overall legs, but What needs more attention?

    great exercises for hip extensors are...GHR, reverse hypers, hypers, RDL, SLDL, conventional deads, ATG squats, lunges, single leg squats.

    hams and glutes, as well as the hip complex. successful sprint mechanics revolve around triple extension or the hip, knee, and ankle...hamstrings are a big factor in hip extension, as are the glutes.

    You whip your leg out with the hams, and push it out with your quads. Glutes work the entire time. Work both. I'd say focus on lunges and squats. Closest thing to walking/running. Hams are important because so any people forget them.
