i was lifting more than iusually do ina particular excersise (upright row) and my elbow has gone.my right elbow bone feels shattered and broken.hurts even wen i lift a cup.it also feels sore and bruised.i usually lift 120 pounds but i attempted 140 and it went.it hurts to bend my arm right up at the elbow and to even hold a cup..anyone know whats gone?is it possible break a bone doing weights?and does upright rowing usually put strain on elbows?when i pull my hand towards my chest it kills but wen i open my arm out its less of a pain.

its unlikely any bones are broken as it is unlikey given the exercise involved. However more likely and probably even worse is that it would be a tendon/ligament of some kind that snapped under the strain of the weight. You need to check it out with a doctors either way, if the bone is broken as you suspect you may need a cast, if a tendon or ligament has snapped it may need to be reattached by surgery. Obviously these are this is the worst case scenario, I'd give it a day or so, if it is still sore get your ass down to a docs because the longer you leave damaged the less likely it will heal correctly.
