you just contradicted yourself...
yes youre right, a man/woman/garden of eden/planet/solar system cant just appear out of no where.
and ill bring science in this to: you cant create or destroy matter.
so what im getting at is something had to put us here, something had to CAUSE the big bang. it couldnt just appear out of nothing.

i dont know much about these things however off the top of my head here is an interesting biblical ties to history
in the old testament when israel split into israel and judea it goes through all the kinds in the books of kings and chronicles. while the assyrians were rising into the first great world empire they were conquering everything in their path and moving into israel from the north towards egypt. when hezekiah was kind over judea its recorded in the bible that he trusted in god to deliver them from the assyrians. the assyrians conquered the city of lachesh north of jerusalem and moved down to lay siege to jerusalem. one last bible reference - it says the angel of the lord killed 185000 of them in the night and when they woke up they were like wtf and left. i forget who ruled at that time in assyria but he recorded on an object known as taylors prism, the conquest of the assyrians. it talks about surrounding hezekiah and jerusalem though never mentions defeat.
here is a map of the empire
though it was kinda cool

Rationality is based on evidence. There is no evidence for a god. Therefore, it is more rational to believe that a god does not exist than to believe that a god does exist.
You (or others) may have some stuff you call evidence, or stuff that is meaningful to you and therefore you call it evidence, but that isn't what I'm talking about here. It is less rational to believe in Russel's teapot vs not, despite a person saying "but I saw it myself!" or some such thing. As the last legion makes it's way to the skies, I can see in their eyes

have you not been reading the posts?
how did the monkeys get here for us to eveolve from?
how did the earth get here for us to live on?
how did the universe get here?
where did all that matter and energy that caused the big bang come form?
things dont just appear out of no where...
answer me these questions.

we dont know yet, but with everything measured, calculated, quantified and corroborated we are getting closer
you just sit there fisting your own ass and making up ridiculous star trek nonsense.. Honestly its like talking to a 5 year old.. As a poster said above me, "who made god then".. Well who?? In fact star trek at least is half-based on fact...
put down the suicide vest and go read a book, please

If you argue with a madman, it is extremely probable that you will get the worst of it; for in many ways his mind moves all the quicker for not being delayed by the things that go with good judgment. He is not hampered by a sense of humor or by charity, or by the dumb certainties of experience. He is the more logical for losing sane affections. The madman is not the man who has lost his reason. The madman is the man who has lost everything except his reason. -- G.K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy

dude.. nobody knows what caused the big bang. **** man, like I said we've only JUST begun to advance in technology. just because science can't prove something now doesn't mean it won't prove it in the future.
give it time.
stop saying just because we can't explain it logically that you can explain it by saying god made the universe.
seriously, you guys MUST have been convinced of religion before you were able to critically think, any logical, intelligent human being would not rationalize our creation and the existence of the entire universe (in which we make up probably not even a trillionth of) by some god who nobody has proof of.

you have to understand, some of our laws may be wrong. we've only been coming up with theories for a couple hundred years, imagine if in the future we get another einstein and he disproves einstein's theory of relativity.
just saying, it COULD be wrong, even though it's unlikely. not all science is 100% fact, a lot of it is theory. who knows, maybe it is possible to create matter. takes time to figure this stuff out.
